              Narodil sa Vykupiteľ,
celého sveta Spasiteľ,
ľud Boží nad tým dnes plesá,
radujme sa, veseľme sa!

Proroci Ho zvestovali,
otcovia si Ho žiadali,
a kráľovia vyčkávali;
radujme sa, veseľme sa!

Boh splnil, čo zasľúbil nám,
prišiel Syn Boží, Kristus Pán,
aby nás z hriechov vykúpil
a život večný navrátil.

Za ten dar ceny nesmiernej,
vďačnosti našej pieseň znej
Tebe, náš Bože v nebesiach!
Radujme sa, veseľme sa!
