              No envidies nunca al pecador,
Perecerá;
Aunque parezca prosperar,
Cual hierba pronto pasará
// De su lugar. //

Espera siempre en Jehová
Y haz el bien,
Porque en la tierra vivirás,
Y alimentado tú serás,
// Espera en Él. //

Pon tu delicia en el Señor,
Y Jehová,
Al escuchar la petición,
Que tienes en tu corazón,
Contestará: - Te la dará.

Mañana aún no te llegó,
Y para hoy
Lo que conviene para ti
Recibirás como hasta aquí,
// No falta Dios. //
