              Pán Ježiš príde zas
na zem k nám.
Čo ak sa vráti dnes?
Vo svojej moci a láske sám.
Čo ak sa vráti dnes?
S jasom a slávou nebeskou
za svojou príde nevestou.
Veľká je váha týchto slov.
Čo ak sa vráti dnes?

  Sláva, sláva,
  ozvú sa žalmy chvál,
  sláva, sláva,
  príde Pán, slávy Kráľ!
  Sláva, sláva,
  pripravte cestu len,
  sláva, sláva,
  On príde v slávy deň!

Diablova vláda raz prestane.
Kiežby to bolo dnes!
Radosť a plesanie nastane.
Kiežby to bolo dnes!
Bohu kto slúžil na zemi,
k životu bude vzkriesený,
splnia sa túžby, dávne sny.
Kiežby to bolo dnes!

Otázku vážnu nám dáva Pán:
„Čo ak sa vrátim dnes?
Nájdem vás
na ceste k nebesiam?
Čo ak sa vrátim dnes?
Všade sa množia znamenia,
blíži sa chvíľa sľúbená,
šťastný, kto bdie a vieru má.
Čo ak sa vrátim dnes?"
