              1. S Ježíšem chci věrně v každou chvíli
kráčet tímto světa údolím.
On mne vede k nebeskému cíli,
když jdu s Ním, pak nikdy nezbloudím,
když jdu s Ním, pak nikdy nezbloudím.

2. S Ním chci jít, ať cokoli se děje,
k věčnému mne vede pokoji.
S Ním i v bouři srdce písně pěje,
u Něho se zlého nebojí,
u Něho se zlého nebojí.

3. Ne vždy krásné zdobí cestu kvítí,
trním též je často posetá.
Budiž, chce-li někdy Pán tak míti,
vždyť i růže v trní rozkvétá,
vždyť i růže v trní rozkvétá.

4. Na Tvou milost spoléhám se zcela,
Pane můj, a vím, že nezhynu.
Když pak přijdeš vzkřísit naše těla,
přijmi mne tam v nebes otčinu,
přijmi mne tam v nebes otčinu.
