                // Tanrı sevgidir, O sevecendir,
  Bağışlayandır, yaşam verendir. //

Tanrı'nın özü sevgidir, sevgi.
Allah'ın sözü, varlığı sevgi.

Sevgi bulunan yerde Tanrı var.
Tanrı olduğu yerde sevgi var.

Sevmeyen insan Allah'ı bilmez.
Çünkü Rab Allah sevgidir, sevgi.

Biz seviyoruz, çünkü Rab sevdi.
Mesih'i verdi, yaşam sağladı.

Ey tüm insanlar, Tanrı bizleri
Yürekten sevdi, İsa'yı verdi.

Biz de böylece birbirimizi
Candan sevmeli ve saymalıyız.
