              1. Ten Pánov deň, deň svätý sobotný,
krás nadzmeských čas radostný,
sám Stvoriteľ v ňom žehná nás
a v duši rozlieva sa radosť, jas.

2. Deň sobotný, pamätný, vzácny čas,
v ňom ticho znie ten Boží hlas,
čo dáva nádej, viery plam,
v ňom chlebom života sýti nás Pán.

3. Deň pokoja prináša spásy zvesť,
za ktorú patrí Bohu česť.
Deň ten vždy znova zjavuje,
že večnou láskou nás Pán miluje.

4. Z brán rajských krás na ceste
k večnosti deň Boží je dňom radosti.
Keď prídeš v sláve, Pane, k nám,
rád znova za všetko chválu ti vzdám.
