              Bože, Duchu dokonalý,
si nad všetky ľudské chvály:
vrúcnym hlasom Ťa vzývame,
zmiluj sa nad nami, Pane.

Svetlo Tvoje osvecuje,
však hriech nám ho zatieňuje,
žiadosť zlá nám srdce mámi,
Bože, zmiluj sa nad nami!

Často slabí sme k dobrému,
viac sme náchylní ku zlému,
Ducha pravdy kormútime,
úprimne Ti neslúžime.

Vyššie veci nehľadáme,
na zemských si zakladáme,
hynieme v žiadostiach vlastných,
ani v šťastí nie sme šťastní.

Len k Tebe, Bože nás, zrieme,
pre Kristovo zasľúbenie,
daj nám zo svojej milosti,
Ducha lásky a svätosti.

Ohňom večnej moci Jeho
zapáľ v srdci z nás každého
obeť viery ušľachtilú,
Tebe príjemnú a milú.

Duch pravdy svätého slova,
nech nás chráni a zachová,
aby sme verní zostali,
bludom, zvodom odolali.

O všetko to Ťa prosíme,
že vyslyšíš nás veríme:
zmiluj sa zmiluj nad nami,
ako otec nad dietkami.
