              Jeesuksen voitosta kerro,
syömmeeni että se soi.
Hänestä laulusi laula,
kaunein, mi sointua voi,
laulu, min enkelit yössä
kaiutti paimenille:
kunnia Luojalle olkoon,
vapahdus syntisille!

  Jeesuksen
  voitosta laula,
  laula se syömmeheni
  niin, että soinnut
  sen siellä
  alati kaikuilisi.

Uudestaan mulle
se kerro:
eestäni Vapahtajan
tyhjensi tuskien kalkin,
pilkan sai katkerimman.
Tuskien taivalta kulki
köyhänä Hän, koditon.
Syntini kaikki
Hän kantoi.
Sellainen Jeesuksein on.
