Mert tudom, semmi nem szakíthat el
az én Uram szerelmétől.
Sem élet, sem halál nem választ el
sem ma, sem holnap.
Mert az angyalok visznek Őhozzá,
s a pokol erői sem állítnak meg!
Nem számít, ha hegytetőn állok meg,
vagy a sík tenger partján.
Mert az Úr alkotta mindezt,
és minden az Övé!

  Befejezés:
Mert tudom, semmi nem szakíthat el
  az én Uram szerelmétől.
