              Pán stal sa mojím Priateľom,
buď Jemu za to vďaka!
On pripravil svoj lásky plán
a dávno na mňa čakal.
Už večne s Ním som zviazaný
tou láskou, čo mi dáva,
veď v časoch zlých sa nemení
a nikdy neprestáva.

Pán stal sa mojím Záchrancom,
ja v hriechu by som zhynul!
On za mňa na kríž z lásky šiel
a zmazal moju vinu.
Už môžem v srdci pokoj mať,
veď dal mi slovo zmluvy
a na tej zmluve nemennej
je pečať Jeho krvi.

Pán stal sa mojou nádejou,
čo do večnosti siaha!
Tam nájdem v Jeho blízkosti
zdroj nebeského blaha.
Nik nemá moc ma odlúčiť
a vyrvať z Jeho dlane,
som Jeho večným vlastníctvom,
dnes, zajtra, neprestajne!
