              Zostaň verný v ohni skúšok,
volaj k Bohu v úzkosti!
Istú pomoc On ti núka,
z každej biedy vyprostí.

  Vzdávaj Bohu česť a chválu,
že sa v Kristu zjavil nám!
  Vzývaj lásku vernú, stálu,
  čo ťa vedie k výšinám!

Zostaň verný v ohni skúšok,
vďačne znášaj žitia kríž!
Budú márne zvody sveta,
keď sa Bohu zasvätíš.

Zostaň verný v ohni skúšok,
trpieť zlé buď hotový!
Iba úzka cesta vedie
hore k nášmu Otcovi!

Zostaň verný v ohni skúšok,
oheň zlato neskazí!
Ak sa viera ohňom skúša,
potom v Bohu víťazí.

Zostaň verný v ohni skúšok,
to je diel tvoj na zemi,
a keď Pán sa zjaví v sláve,
On ťa vencom odmení!
